Journey towards Silence — Tunesia 2020

Touching Moments

Our March 2020 trip to the Sahara was an adventure. (Page in French)

When we arrived in Tunisia — on the island of Djerba — country after country was closing their border crossings, international flights and travel were being cancelled.

Corona went around the world.

Meanwhile we drove to the gate of the Sahara in Tunisia — Zaafrane near Doux — and from there we went into the desert for about 2 weeks, accompanied by some experienced guides and with the strong help of dromedaries who carried water, provisions and equipment, with serenity.

You may touch some impressions of this trip trhough the pictures in the small film above.

Contact me if you are interested to plan an authentic journey into the Sahara. I will put you in direct touch with the people there.

The Bedouins are enthusiastic when they can convey the treasures of the Sahara to open-minded people from abroad. What are your dreams about such a journey? Do not hesitate to dream and contact me to see what is possible.
