Three Hebrew men walk unharmed in a fiery furnace

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego are figu­res from chap­ter 3 of the Book of Daniel in the Bible.

These three Hebrew men were thrown into a fie­ry fur­nace by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, when they refu­sed to bow down to the king’s image. 

The three are pre­ser­ved from harm howe­ver and the king actual­ly sees four (!) men wal­king in the fla­mes, “the fourth … like a son of God”
